I am just a girl who got hooked on this site and now I can't get out. Someone, please help me.
I don’t think that legally they can do that. If you hand them the cash or a check for $100 that’s on you and can’t be reversed but if they dock it from your pay that’s highly illegal and you would need to file a wage claim.
Counterfeit bills are the cost of doing business and they’ll have to deal. If they bring it up again, tell them it’s illegal and if they remove the money from your paycheck you will be filing a wage claim.
You keep that $100, don’t let that bully of a manager make you pay for anything that may not even be your fault, and even if it was, you shouldn’t have to pay at all anyway! One time one of my old managers took counterfeit and you had to report it and write it down and make it up through sales later at the store I was at. But she had gotten into trouble a lot over being under budget and with accepting coins and money that sometimes wasn’t even our currency, she just left it in the till for WEEKS sitting to the side so she could pretend they were up to scratch and she got in huge trouble for that because there were weeks where the money recorded from sales and float just wasn’t the right amount recorded.
She didn’t care much about fake money but I did and I would call out counterfeit when I saw it and one time had a customer jump over the counter, snatch the fake money and bolt while I called security. She just didn’t give a shit.
does anyone actually track their periods because i dont im too lazy and its just like this really terrible surprise that i dont want every month and me trying to convince myself that theres no way its been 4 weeks already
my body does it for me, like the week leading up to it I feel like I just got it or go to the bathroom expecting to see it there and it would bug me all week until it would finally come so i am always prepared but like, my body just automatically timed it for me. I thought every girl had that?
Oh, lots of things. The tendency to take offense at every little thing (even, or especially, if the overall message is a good one), or jump to conclusions. Entitlement (although working retail also contributed a lot to that understanding). Obsession. The urge to beat someone down because you disagree with them, while spouting off things like “Why can’t we all just get along?” and “Everyone is beautiful, no judgement.” The ease of hiding behind a greyface to attack someone.
However, that’s not to say it’s all bad. A few months ago, I shoved my foot halfway down my throat in a misunderstanding, and got several dozen messages about it. However, where I was expecting most of the messages to be along the lines of, “Go make vicious love to yourself with a white-hot poker, you piece of excrement,” they were the exact opposite. 98% of the messages were from people who wanted to say that I shouldn’t worry about it, everyone makes mistakes, etc, and only 2% were the above message. I’ve seen the dark side of the internet before, and I was so surprised to receive those nice messages. Every now and then, though, if I have anon turned on, someone who’s just seen the post (it got something like 60000 notes) will come and give me their unsavoury opinions on the matter.
Everything you’ve said about tumblr is totally something I agree on, I have also encountered blogs where they call out for anti-bullying and acceptance of people and their free thoughts and then go hate on people with opinions or because of how they look sometimes.
But then the genuine people of tumblr are the ones who keep me here because I am happy to see genuine people. On the note of retail, I bet those who are all blogging about loving people and respect etc can sometimes be those crazy customers who look down their noses at retailers.
So my fiancé is sleeping and he just kinda burst out laughing about something like butts so I woke him up because I wanted to know and he just said “What are you doing there? Weren’t you sitting over there on the TV?”
Now I rEALLY wanna know what he was dreaming about!
